Question by voraciousveggies: joomla installed to folder, how to show index page?
I have a website hosted by godaddy, joomla is installed in a folder called “joomla”. Since my index.php is saved in the joomla folder, how to I show the index.php as the default webpage for the domain? I am new, but I know that just moving the file will mess with all the links and references. It is a brand new site so there is basically only one page at this point. Is there a way to redirect or am I better off just installing a clean copy of joomla to the html folder?

You should be able to just move everything in the joomla folder to the main directory. This should keep all references intact.
